Today we’re excited to release the first-ever Senior Living Reputation Leaderboard, a monthly ranking of senior living brands based on publicly available ratings and reviews on Google, using our proprietary SLR Score™ to rank the brands.

This new report analyzes thousands of communities across the industry to identify the organizations delivering exceptional service, hospitality, and overall experience. Our goal is to create a reliable, data-driven benchmark that operators, marketers, and executives can use to understand how their brand compares within the broader landscape.

Top 10 Senior Living Brands (December 2025*)

  1. Kensington Senior Living – Every Kensington community has an SLR Score above 90.
  2. The Arbor Company – With 44 communities, The Arbor Company is the largest brand in the Top 10, and impressively all have high SLR Scores.
  3. Silverado Senior Living – A scattering of recent negative reviews at a few communities are the only things preventing Silverado from moving into the Top 2!
  4. Kisco Senior Living – A 4.1 rating at one of Kisco’s communities in Florida is the only blemish on their reputation.
  5. Highgate Senior Living – At the time of this blog post, the three most recent reviews for every Highgate community are all positive, a remarkable level of consistency.
  6. SALMON Health – One community with a frequency of positive reviews below target is the only knock against SALMON Health.
  7. Dial Senior Living – Every Dial community has a rating of 4.5+, most with well over 100 reviews.
  8. Northbridge Communities – Review recency and frequency at a few Northbridge communities are the only things holding this brand from moving into the Top 5
  9. MBK Senior Living – A few communities with SLR Scores in the high 80’s pull this brand’s overall score down below the brands listed above.
  10. Epoch Senior Living – Both their Bridges and Waterstone locations score high in review KPIs.

‍

This serves as our baseline ranking. Starting next month, we’ll track movement, trends, and changes across these and other brands.

‍

Methodology

Our rankings are based on the Senior Living Reputation (SLR) Scores of all communities in a brand. The SLR Score™  provides a simple, standardized way to measure a community’s Google review performance and understand how prospective families perceive a location. This reflects real-world decision-making behaviors and helps communities understand what prospective families see – and thus take actions to strengthen their reputation.

For more details on the SLR Score™ see our blog post here.
